BR 2-19: Good Night, Good Knight

I read this book. There is no reason why I chose it, but I liked its story, so I write book review.



Main character were three dragons and a good knight. One night a good knight heard very large roar. So he went to forest, and he saw a little dragon. He wanted water to drink, so he brought him a glass of water. And a little dragon went to bed. When a good knight came back to his kingdom, he heard very larger roar than before. So he went to forest again. And then he saw another little dragon, and she asked him to tell a story. Also a dragon, he saw some time ago, asked him water to drink. So a good knight read a story and brought a glass of water, and they went to bed. So he came back to kingdom again, but he heard a very very large roar than before, so he went to forest again! And he saw three little dragons. He asked them, 'what do they want? A glass of water? Another story? Or what?' And they answered. 'We need kiss for good night!' Good knight kissed them, and they slept tight. A good knight came back to his kingdom, and he also slept well.

Little dragons were soooo cute!!! And good knight was REALLY GOOD knight :) He was so kind! I can't sleep now, so I want to ask him something good...

BR 2-15: Bugs, Beetles, and Butterflies

I don't have any reason why I chose this book. It was by accident.

This book was about bugs, beetles, and butterflies. Do you know about bugs? There are many bugs! Pretty bugs, and not pretty bugs. Some bugs can swim, but most bugs fly, and also some bugs bite us! Fat bugs, and thin bags. Some bugs have bad smell; If you watch bugs when they eat other bugs, you may feel sad. But it's natural things. Next is beetles. There are also many kinds of beetles. Some beetles eat mice!!! It's amazing! Last is butterflies. Butterflies are colorful! You know, butterflies make big change when they grow up. Butterflies are cute, but it's not cute in childhood.

I don't like bugs and beetles, but I was able to know about them by reading this book. It was good thing! I can't Japanese books about bugs and beetles, so it was good experience to know them.

BR 2-16: Catch the Bus

I wanted to read easy book, so I chose it.

Before seven o'clock, the town is so quite. At seven, the alarm make people wake up! But five minutes later, 7:05, they sleep again. Mother and father already wake up. At 7:15, the driver start working. And the bus start at 7:20 in order to pick children up. At 7:25, brother and sister don't wake up. At 7:30, 35, 40, 45... they don't wake up! Other children ride a bus to go to school. Mother make brother and sister wake up with angry! And then they wake up. But bus is near to their house. Can they be ready on time??? They are ready rapidly and rapidly and rapidly... and at 8 o'clock, they finish their ready!!! And they can ride on bus on time.

I'm not good at waking up, so I'm often late for school. I thought that time was important through reading this book. Tomorrow I'll wake up early!!!

BR 2-17: Cat Traps

I read this book because the book cover was cute.

Cat wanted a snack, so set a trap! Cat wanted to get a mouse, but cat got a bug. Next cat wanted chicken, but she got a pig! Too big! Next cat wanted a fish, but she got a too big fish! She fell down to the pond. Next trap was to get a frog. But she got a dog! Next was for duck. She got duck!! But the duck was adult... Next trap was for squirrel. What did she got? She got... a cat! Herself! Cat set last trap. And she got a snack!!!

This cat was cute!!! Miss of the cat was funny :D I liked Cat's smile when cat set trap!! Does Milktea set a trap when she wants a snack? No! She shouts and jumps! It is not good to eat too much snack, but sometimes is OK. Milktea loves eating, so eating makes her happy!

BR 2-18: When the TV Broke

When I found this book, I thought that this book was easy to read but probably interesting! So I chose it.

Jeffrey liked watching TV, and he watched TV everyday. But one day the TV in Jeffrey's house was broken! Then he couldn't watch TV!!! Jeffrey had nothing to do. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Jeffery do nothing much. But on Friday he found some boxes. And then he started making house with boxes! On Saturday. his father came back with fixed TV, but Jeffry said, "Not now, Dad. I'm busy now. Maybe tomorrow."

If my TV is broken, I don't care so much. I liked my TV very much, but TV is not always need for me. HOWEVER! If my computer is broken, I'll be in bad trouble!!! I can't imagine the life which doesn't have computer. Computer is always necessity for me!!!!!!!!

BR 2-12: The Cow in the House

I chose this book because I liked this title :) So I read it and write book review!

A man lived in an old house. His house was very noisy because of his chair, bed, and roof! So he went to town and asked to wise man. A wise man advised him to get cow and keep it in his house. A man didn't think this was good idea, but he did it. Then the cow said moo, and his house became noisier than before. So he went and asked to a wise man again, then a wise man answered, "you should have a donkey in your house." A man got donkey in his house, but his house became noisier than before. So he went and asked to a wise man again, then a wise man said, "you should get a sheep and keep it in your house." So he did it, but his house became more noisier than before! He went to a wise man again, and a wise man said to have a cat and dog. A man did so, and his house became more noisier than before!!! He said to a wise man that his house became noisier than before. Then a wise man said, "put all animals out!" And he put all of them out of his house. He went into his house, and went to bed. His house still noisy because of chair and bed and roof. But he thought, what a quite house!!!

I liked this story very much! I thought that the wise man was really clever :) That was gooooood idea!!!! He is like Ikkyu who was Japanese Buddhist priest.

BR 2-13: Biscuit

When I saw the book cover, I felt in love in a matter of seconds!!! How cute!!!! So I chose this book and read it :)

Biscuit was a small and yellow dog. It was time for bed, but Biscuit wanted to play, a snack, a drink, to hear story, his blanket, his doll, a hug, a kiss, and light on. After the light off, he wanted one more kiss and one more hug. And then Biscuit slept well :) It was cute and heartwarming story!

While reading this book, in my head there was Milktea. I wanted to see her!!! Biscuit is similar to Milktea. Yellow color, sweet face, and small. Both of them are dogs who feels lonesome easily, and children who nestles up to its parents. Maybe me too :P Biscuit has similar things with Milktea,but my sweet Milktea is more cute than Biscuit :))) I hope that I sleep with Milktea tonight!

BR 2-14: Biscuit Finds a Friend

I wrote a book review about "Biscuit", so you know I liked that book. And this book which I wrote book review about is another story of Biscuit!

Biscuit walked with a girl. And then Biscuit found something. A ball, a bone, and a little duck! The little duck got lost. So a girl and Biscuit went to the pond to bring back the little duck! In the pond, there were little duck's mother, father, sister and brother! There were little duck's family! Then the little duck went to Biscuit, and wanted to play! They played together, but Biscuit fell down to the pond! Biscuit became wet. And it was time to go back home! They said good-bye. Biscuit made friend :)

Biscuit was so lovely! I liked!!! Milktea is also yellow and little, the model of Biscuit is Milktea??? No, Milktea is more cute!!!!!!!!!!! But I liked both of them :) BUT! Milktea is the best!!!

BR 2-11: B is for Books

I read this book! The book cover is so cute! It's a Big Bard of Sesame Street. I think that everyone knows it. It's very famous!

This book was about BOOKS. Sesame Street is for young children, so this book told about alphabet for them, I think. What is the book? What kind of books are there? You can know about books.

For me, books are very necessary things. I like reading books very much! I often go to the library and read books. I hope that I read all books in university's library! Can I do that? I hope so :D If you don't read books, I think that it's not good!!! Reading books teach you many important things. Actually I was helped by one book when I was a junior high school student. This book made me feel bad, but it encourage me at the same time! I think that books have special power. So you should read books and learn something important.

Oh, things I want to say changed ;) Anyway I liked this book! And illustration in this book were cute!!! You should read for illustration :)

BR 2-10: Milo's Toothache

When I chose some books for book review, I found this book. The book cover was so cute, and I liked it! And also it's easy to read, so I write book review.

One day, Milo and his friend Dan played Ping-Pong together. Then suddenly Milo felt toothache, so he decided to go to the dentist. Dan said that he went to the dentist with Milo because he thought that Milo felt scary. While Milo took the bath, Dan thought 'what should I do if I felt scary?' So he asked his friend to go to the dentist together. His friend, Amy said OK, but she thought bad idea near to Dan. She became afraid, so she asked other friends to go to the dentist together! And when Milo got ready, there were many friends who went to the dentist with Milo! They walked to the dentist and reached. They waited at waiting room, and the doctor called Milo's name. While Milo was in the examination room, his friends got into panic! When Milo came back, they were bad condition which need doctor!

It's cute story!!! Milo's friends are nice :) If my friends go to hospital with me, I feel happy. Hospital makes me bad feeling! Friends are important, I learn from this book.

BR 2-09: Down the Rushing River

I read it. When I chose some books, I took this book by chance. So I decided to read this book :)

There were four children. Sam, Ben, Jojo, and Mouse. They rode the magic lift to find their friend, Obby. They reached the same place before, but there were little change. They began to find Obby, but he wasn't there. Sam kicked rock because she got angry, but then, the rock moved! They were so surprised. The rock was a turtle! Her name was Myrtle. She knew Obby, but she said bad news. Obby was taken by Giant Gong! Sam, Ben, Jojo, and Mouse decided to help him. Myrtle helped them. They rode a boat to pass river. Myrtle was in the river with them. They got over rapids, but someone strange threw them rocks! So they jumped in the river. Mtrtle helped them in the river. They dived down, and they found magic lift.They rode it and pushed the button. Then they came back real world.

It's interesting story. I like adventure story, so I like it. Maybe it's series, so I want to read another story.

BR 2-08: The Great Escape

I read it. I chose it because I like the title. This book is easy to read but interesting I think.

Harry, Baz, Kipper, and Rocco had interesting and bad idea. They went to City Farm, and escaped all animals! Animals felt free and happy, and they went to the town. When people woke up, the town was full of animals. People was in trouble!!! Four boys were laughing. Policeman and people in the town tried to catch animals. And they brought back almost animals to City Farm. But an ostrich kept being in the town! Policeman went to find the ostrich. And then the ostrich was in school. And the ostrich found the four backs of boys, and run after them!! They run to City Farm, and escaped in shed. It was pig's shed. Policeman kept laughing for a week after that!

If the town is full of animals when I wake up, I may feel fun :) I like zoo, of course animals! But almost people feel trouble, so it's not good idea;

BR 2-07: Young Cam Jansen and the Baseball Mystery

I read this book :) When I read another book of same series, I thought that this book was interesting. So I chose this book because it's same series.

Main character is Cam. She had special ability. She was able to remember everything what she has seen. And her ability was useful in this story! Other character were her friends, and dogs :)

One day Cam ans her friend Eric went to the park, there were many people. They were playing, resting, reading books, and so on. Then Cam and Eric met their friends, and they came to play baseball together! Amy hit the ball over Robert's head, Robert went to catch the ball. He went back and back and back... but there was no ball! Where was the ball? Where did the ball go? So all children went to find their ball in the park! They looked over everywhere, but they couldn't find. They saw two children who played catch ball, but the ball they used was not Cam and her friend's. So Cam thought hard, and she got new idea! Then they looked over a dog who played with a red ball. When they found a dog, owner and his dog played with white ball. That white ball was Cam's friend's! They found their white ball, so they started playing baseball again!

I think that Cam's ability is very useful. Cam looks detective! I hope that I can become nice detective too :D

BR 2-06: Young Cam Jansen and the Dinosaur Game

I read this book. I liked its book cover, so I read.

First I'll talk about character. Cam is a girl who has special ability. Her special ability is at memory. She can remember everything she has seen. So she is called 'Cam', its mean is 'camera.' Her real name is Jennifer, but her memory is like camera. Eric is her friend, he's a boy.

Next is about the story. Cam and Eric went to the birthday party. But her father forgot to bring a invitation. So he didn't know where they went to. Then was Cam's turn! She closed her eyes and said 'Click!' Then she got invitation in her head! Through her memory they could reach to the birthday party. At the birthday party, there were many toys of dinosaur, and Mr. Bell asked them to count dinosaurs in the jar. If you counted close to real dinosaur's number, you were able to get all dinosaurs! So Cam and Eric counted. When they ate cakes, Mr. Bell said the correct number of dinosaurs. And after Mr. Bell ate cake, it was time for answer. 1000, 200, 150... there were many many answers, and last paper was '154.' Correct answer was 154, so Robert who wrote 154 was the winner! But Cam and Eric thought something strange. So they thought while chair game, and they understood! They called Robert from the chair game, and she said to him, 'You put the paper after Mr. Bell said answer.' Robert did dirty thing! Robert said sorry, and he told real story to Mrs. Bell. And then Eric got dinosaur because he wrote 150. It's the nearest number. Eric shared it with everyone!

Cam is nice girl! She is cool!!! I want a special ability about memory because I don't have good memory!!

Essay: Our Life with Computers

Computer is very useful! We can research almost everything on the Internet, listen to music, communicate with many people... there are many things which we can do with computers! And also we can learn with computers! Also I learn with computers. So today I'll talk about what I learned with computers.

First I'll talk about 'challenges.' When I use computer, there are many difficult things. In writing class, we have own blog, so we often use computers. But it's difficult for me because I can't use computer well. Computer has many many functions, and it puzzles me. But my teacher and friends teach me how to use computers. So I can use computers well than before. This is challenge things for me.

Second is 'communication.' I can communicate with many people through the Internet. Now I join mixi, and I've made many friends who live all over Japan. I never meet them, but I like them! They are kind, and I can enjoy interchange mail with them. If there wasn't computers or Internet, I thought that I wasn't able to become friends with them! I appreciate computers. Also I communicate with many people through writing class. I often visit to other class student's blog, and leave some comments. And also someone who I don't know visits to my blog and leave comments. Only occasionally foreign people come to my blog. I think that it’s good communication!

Third is about 'information.' In the Internet, there are much information! Infinite information!!! We may be able to know everything if we use Internet! I also appreciate Internet. I always use Internet to look over something I need when I do my assignment. Internet is very useful for study! And I use Internet for daily life. For example, I often use cooking recipe site to know how to cook. I learn about cooking from the Internet. I have other example. When my favorite soccer player, Inamoto, lived in England, I often visit English sports news site to know about him. It was written in English. But I didn't like reading English, so it was difficult for me to read. But I was happy because I was able to got information which wasn't written in Japanese sports news site.

Fourth I'll talk about 'useful applications.' I often use Power Words to learn vocabulary. I think that it is very useful applications! I can learn vocabulary while I'm enjoying. Also Power Words has sound function, so I can learn correct pronunciation! Since I started Power Words, I got a large vocabulary, I think. And other useful application I think is online typing practice. I like typing, but I want to type faster. So online typing practice is very useful for me!

As a conclusion, I'll talk about my opinion. In our life, we often use computers. And computer is important part of our life. We can know everything you want to know. I can't imagine there aren't computers! Using computer is difficult thing, but it's also useful thing. I hope that I can use computer better than now and I learn many thing.

BR 2-04: The Magic Porridge Pot

I read this book. I chose it because it looked easy to read, and the book cover was cute!

First I'll talk about the story of this book. Main character was a little girl and her mother. They were poor and they didn't have money for food, and then a cracker was the last food. One day the little girl went out, and then she met a man. He said that he wanted something to eat. So she gave him her cracker. He appreciated her, and he gave some present to her! That was a magic pot. "If you say magic words, 'little pot, cook!’ you can get something to eat, and you say 'little pot, stop!’ the pot stop making foods." The man said like that. So the little girl went home and said that spell. "Little pot, cook!" Then the magic pot started making foods!!! The little girl and her mother ate fully. And then she said, "Little pot, stop!” the pot stopped making. This was a true magic pot! One day the little girl went out, and her mother wanted to make something to eat. She didn't call her daughter, and she said wrong words. So the magic pot didn't make anything, but she said magic words again, and it was correct words so the magic pot made foods! She ate until she was full up. After eating she wanted the magic pot to stop making foods, so she said magic words! But the magic words were wrong!!! She said many words, but every words were wrong. While she said magic words, the magic pot kept making and making and making... And porridge which the pot made was full of house, and went out to the town! Then her daughter, the little girl went home. She understood what happened. So she said, "Little pot, stop!" At length the pot stopped making foods. After that, people lived in this town went out with spoon, and they ate porridge.

This was interesting story, but at first I felt the kindness of the little girl. The cracker she gave to a man was her last food, but she gave him readily! It was great thing, I thought. If I'm the little girl, I may give him my last cracker. She was great and kind. Her kindness was a good example for me to follow. And also I thought that the magic pot stopped making. If the little girl didn't say that magic words and the magic pot didn't stop making, probably porridge was full of the earth!!!! It's not good, don't you think so?

Writing Essay: A Shrine Sacred to SOYBEAN PASTE

Do you know Miso Tenjin(味噌天神)? Miso Tenjin is a shrine sacred to soybean paste(味噌), and it’s near my house. I want to know about Miso Tenjin and tell everyone about the mysterious shrine, so I decided to write about Miso Tenjin! I’ll talk about history, tradition, and the president Miso Tenjin!

First I’ll talk about the history of Miso Tenjin. Miso Tenjin’s official name is Motomura Shrine. Miso Tenjin built about 1300 ago. When epidemic was raging in 713, Miso Tenjin built to cure epidemic. And then, people enshrined 御祖天神 (Miso Tenjin, god of mysterious medicine), so this shrine was called Miso Tenjin.

Miso Tenjin is the only shrine sacred to soybean paste, then why does Miso Tenjin enshrine soybean paste? Next is traditions of Miso Tenjin. There are some traditions. A long time ago, there was a kokubunji (国分寺, temple in the Nara period). One day a fire broke out in the temple. Then priests put goshintai (ご神体, sacred things) in the soybean paste in order to protect goshintai. After fire, priests looked goshintai in the soybean paste. Goshintai was safe because of soybean paste!! There is another tradition. If soybean paste go rotten, bamboo leaf in Miso Tenjin make rotten soybean paste become delicious!! Do you believe that? I can’t believe, but many people believe it. So, until before the war, people come to Miso Tenjin in order to get bamboo leaf.

Lastly I’ll talk about the president Miso Tenjin. In October 25, the festival is held in Miso Tenjin. There are some events. For example, present soybean paste, taste miso soup, and so on. Miso Tenjin is loved the locals even now!

Miso Tenjin is an old shrine, and there are some mysterious traditions! And people love Miso Tenjin also now. I’m glad that only shrine sacred to soybean is in Kumamoto, and near my house! I think that Miso Tenjin is the secret of Kumamoto. And I guess that there are more traditions about Miso Tenjin, so I want to look into Miso Tenjin!

Essay: Life with Dogs

Today I'll introduce my future community! I want to make a special community, it's a "Dachshund Club." This club is for the lover of dachshund. Do you know dachshund? It's a kind of dogs. And Milktea is dachshund. Dachshund is very cute, so they are popular. Especially small size dachshund is very cute! They are long body and short legs. Because of it, they have weak backbone. That's a short explanation about dachshund. I think that this community will be nice club. So I'll talk about purposes, activities, and dream of this club.

First I'll talk about the purposes of this club. I want to make this club because of Milktea. Since I've lived with Milktea, I have many worries. What food is the best? What toys should we choose? What dose she think? I want to make Milktea happy, so I think about Milktea a lot! However I can't talk about my worry with others. So I can't solve these problems! But if there is Dachshund Club, we have same problems, so we can talk about our problem each other!!! This is so useful for them who have Dachshund, I think. So the purpose of this club is to solve our worries!

Next is about activities of this club! Main activity is the exchange of information. For example, vaccination, foods, shampoo, veterinary clinic, free place for dogs (we always say dog-run), and so on. Also if we live near, we go to cafe with dog together! It is also nice to walk our dogs together, I think! Or somebody want to make their dog marry, you can choose from this club's dog. Contact with them who have dachshund is so fun! We can understand each other. Other important activity is cleaning in our town. When we walk our dog and they get to toilet, it is manner to clean it. However some people don't clean up! It is a bad manner. So we clean our town as same people who have dogs. We are cooperate and follow good manner!

Last is my idea of dream. This club isn't just a fan club of dachshund. I want to make more useful community! Now there are many problems about dogs. I hope that this club became meaningful community. We have responsibility for dogs, so we have to think about them seriously. And in the future, this club's activity will expand to the world! We must think about important lives and save them. I hope so.

There are many communities of dogs, but I want to make some different club! We have will, and active to solve many big and small problems. I think that this club became a nice club! Everyone love their dogs and make them happy, so we have to cooperate each other. I hope that we make good community with our sweet dogs!
